Somerset County Tennis Manager Michael Watson & Madison Keys

The Somerset County Junior Team Tennis League (SCJTTL) is a United States Tennis Association sanctioned program that started in 2011 with two teams (Bridgewater and Bernards townships). Prior to that, the residents of our townships and boroughs would have to travel up to an hour and a half to participate in organized fun and friendly tennis competition.

Our league today has eight teams and five age divisions. The winners of the SCJTTL go on to represent our county in a regional championship and then the national championship at the National Tennis Center in Flushing Queens (home of the U.S. Open). Our mission is to increase youth participation by providing access to low cost, local, organized tennis leagues.
